Soft Toe: KEEN.PROTECT left and right asymmetrical soft toe caps help protect against minor impact, meeting ASTM F2892 EH standards. Please note, they are not reinforced with a secondary crush-resistant material. Waterproof: Featuring KEEN.DRY, a breathable membrane liner that allows vapor to escape while keeping water out, ensuring your feet stay dry and comfortable. The Fort Wayne 6” work boots also have a mesh liner that works in tandem with the waterproof membrane. Support & Comfort: These boots are equipped with KEEN Luftcell, an air-infused midsole and pillow-top cushioning for lightweight comfort. The nylon shank provides midfoot support, and the upper material meets ASTM SATRA TM31 material abrasion standards. Construction: Made with full-grain barnyard resistant leather that can resist oleic acid, urea, sodium chloride, and ammonium hydroxide. The direct attach construction creates a strong bond between the upper and outsole. Safety & Traction: The oil- and slip-resistant, non-marking, siped rubber outsoles improve traction and exceed F2913 SATRA standards. Additionally, the outsole and midsole meet ASTM D471-06 903# oil and isooctane chemical resistance standards.
